Millennium
Arches - Galley Common School, Warwickshire
by Paul Margetts
The project aimed to create a piece of public art which emphasised the history of the village, be a celebration of the Millennium, and provide a sense of identity for old and new inhabitants of the area. Two archways were made over the pedestrian gates into Galley Common School.
The details on the arches describe many features relating to the past and present life of the village.
